We created a custom typeface for the upcoming 2028 Olympics to be hosted in Los Angeles.
We referenced multiple ‘octagonal’ sans serifs that represent the city, including lettering from the 1932 LA Olympics, the work of Ed Ruscha, and the original Hollywoodland sign.
The fonts needed to pair with the existing logo design system, which features unique A’s created by Olympians, celebrities, and other notable creatives.
